Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a regular, full-time Engineering or Technology degree from a university or institute recognised by the appropriate statutory authorities in India.

Important Qualification Conditions:

• Only regular/full-time degree qualifications are accepted under the stated conditions.
• Part-time, correspondence, distance education and e-learning engineering degrees are not eligible.
• Integrated 5-year or 6-year degrees in the relevant discipline and branch are also eligible as stated in the notification.
• Where CGPA or grades are awarded, candidates must enter the equivalent percentage according to their university or institute rules and provide a conversion certificate when required.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit for UR and EWS candidates is 28 years as on 17 October 2026.

• SC/ST: Upper age relaxation of 5 years.
• OBC-NCL: Upper age relaxation of 3 years.
• PwBD: Upper age relaxation of 10 years, in addition to applicable category relaxation.
• Jammu and Kashmir domicile: Relaxation of 5 years for candidates who ordinarily resided there from 1 January 1980 to 31 December 1989, subject to the notification.
• Ex-Servicemen and serving Armed Forces personnel: Relaxation as per HAL rules.

Applicable category certificates and all eligibility conditions must be satisfied. The notification also specifies maximum age limits after relaxation.

HAL Junior Executive Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be inducted into the E0 pay scale under the 2017 DPE pay structure of ₹30,000–₹1,20,000.

Pay and Allowances

• Basic Pay: ₹30,000 per month initially.
• Dearness Allowance (DA): On basic pay, revised quarterly.
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): As per city classification when company accommodation is not provided.
• Cafeteria Allowance: 35% of basic pay.
• Annual Increment: 3% of basic pay in the second and third years.

• Medical insurance reimbursement of up to ₹25,000 per annum towards insurance coverage of up to ₹10 lakh, subject to the notification conditions.

Selection Process
